After a wrong turn on a routine food delivery, Lina steps into a narrow alley swallowed by a bright light. At its end, a tear in the world burns with a warm golden hue. The portal takes her into a sunlit, fantastical village rooted in Middle Eastern mythology. In this realm, Lina’s hair transforms, vibrant, alive, and reactive to her emotions. As she uncovers the ancestral origins of this magic, she confronts mythical beings and lost histories while learning to embrace her identity, her emotions, and her roots.

This was for a Pre-production module at university where we were tasked to create an art book surrounding an original story. From the research to the concept art, I thoroughly enjoyed this project. I hope to continue to develop and produce this into an animated series one day.
